Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS) provides full 3D viewing, realistic sounds, graphics, physics (train weight, momentum, weather conditions, track slippage, etc.); in-cab, out-of-cab, in-passenger-car views; simple to complex operating modes (signals, ambient traffic, functional train controls and gauges); optional game play activities; simple or complex locomotive controls; and open architecture for third-party add-on and customizable activities, routes, and rolling stock.
