2 visiting steam locomotives confirmed for Keighley and Worth Valley Railway gala


The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway has confirmed the visit of two steam locomotives for its Spring Steam Gala.

Taking place the weekend of March 11-13, 2022, the Spring Steam Gala returns in 2022 and will feature an action-packed steam weekend featuring unique freight trains and double-head trains.

GWR Pannier 7714 and LMS Royal Scot No. 46100 Royal Scot will be visiting for the Spring Steam Gala courtesy of the Severn Valley Railway / SVR Pannier Tank Trust and the Locomotive Services Group respectively.

46100 Royal Scot and 7714 will join LMS Jubilee 45596 Bahamas, LMS Black 5 No. 45212, L&Y No. 957, Taff Vale 85, BR Standard Class 2 No. 78022, LMS Ivatt 2 No. 41241 and the Grafton Steam Crane throughout the gala .

Tickets for the gala will go on sale Monday, January 24, 2022 on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway website.
