All aboard! Fall Special Event Trains at the Northwest Railway Museum


Step into the fall season with a variety of fun train adventures at the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie.

First, step back in time as you ride the rails aboard the Museum steam train powered by Northern Pacific steam locomotive 924 the weekends of October 1 and 2 and November 5 and 6.

Take a scenic steam train ride during the colorful fall season on two different weekends through the upper Snoqualmie Valley with the North West Railway Museum. All tours head west to the top of Snoqualmie Falls, stopping at the ridge to view the lower river valley and include a 30-minute stop to visit the train shed exhibit hall.

The steam train will depart from North Bend and Snoqualmie depots, with different times to choose from. Ticket prices are: $30/adult, $15/child (2 to 12 years old) and $25/senior (62 years old and over).

Second, enjoy the 2022 Halloween season with a Halloween train excursion on the weekends of 15-16, 22-23 and 29-30 October.

Your spellbinding good time includes a decorated train ride as you sit back to enjoy the changing colors of fall on a train ride through the scenic Upper Snoqualmie Valley!

Begin your 2-hour round-trip experience at Historic Snoqualmie Depot or North Bend Depot, where you board the museum’s historic coaches and travel to take in the stunning views from the top of Snoqualmie Falls down to the Valley of the river below.

Halloween train tours include a stop at the train shed showroom with family-friendly Halloween tales. Costumes are encouraged and all children will receive a small prize! Ticket prices are: $30/adult, $15/child (2 to 12 years old) and $25/senior (62 years old and over).
