Head to London Kings Cross in October to see the 60103 Flying Scotsman steam locomotive


LNER A3 No. 60103 Flying Scotsman, owned by the National Railway Museum, will travel to London Kings Cross in October, allowing members of the public to view the locomotive fresh from overhaul.

The public exhibition will take place at London Kings Cross on 15 and 16 October.

Tickets for the event cost £7 per person (for adults and children).

On the occasion of the 170th anniversary of the station, members of the public can purchase a platform ticket to visit the locomotive on platform 8 and will have the chance to take a photo with the locomotive.

Ticket holders can:

  • 10 minutes on the dock with Flying Scotsman
  • Special souvenir ticket
  • Virtually drive Flying Scotsman, which was developed by Dovetail Games
  • Flying Scotsman merchandise available for purchase

The NRM also states that a £1 discount will apply when you book 3 or more tickets in one transaction.
