Holland’s Cordel-powered LiDAR provides customers with a range of data applications such as runway imagery, clearance validation, line-of-sight measurements, condition assessments and more. Using track geometry and LiDAR data applications, customers can see a digital twin of their infrastructure and get the most out of their track inspections. By pairing Cordel’s LiDAR equipment with Holland’s already in-service track inspection vehicles, customers can maximize their inspection data without the need for additional track time.

“It’s an exciting time for our customers to discover even more data provided to our already existing suite of track measurement products and services. We are delighted to combine our best track inspection services with the best LiDAR technology. Said Russ Newberg, Holland Operations Manager, Railway Measurement Systems and Services Division.

“Holland has a rich product portfolio and has earned a well-deserved reputation for integrity and customer service, and we are proud to be associated with it. Combining Cordel’s automated LiDAR solutions with Holland’s comprehensive track inspection services on the same vehicles delivers more efficiency and value to railways, said Nick Wayne, Cordel’s vice president for the Americas.

While Holland is primarily known in the rail industry for being the leading provider of butt welding rail services, Holland’s track measurement systems and services have grown over the years. Holland is proud to offer its customers a range of track measurement data from contract testing services to the new UGMS Track Inspector, Track Inspector and Locomotive.

Ken Faanes, Holland Sales Manager, added, “Our primary goal is to provide our customers with data-packed track inspection services and products so that railways across North America are on the go too. sure as possible. This partnership allows us to go even further by ensuring that our rail partners can operate safely and get the most out of their capital when it comes to repairs.
