Polish railway lines signed 32.3 million euros (138 million PLN) for the revitalization of the Intop – Torkol – Rajbud consortium and the Podkarpackie – ChryzanÃ³w line. This railway will provide a transport link with Belarus in the eastern part of the country, at the SiemianÃ³wka border post.
The contract consists of two parts
One of them is the modernization of the state borders: ChryzanÃ³w County, which is a project jointly funded by the Regional Operational Program of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, worth PLN 69 million (16, 14 million euros).
The second part envisages the reconstruction of the part of SiemianÃ³wka – SwisÅocz, which is fully financed from the state budget and also represents around 69 million PLN (16.14 million euros).
âInvestments in the SiemianÃ³wka region border post will improve the regional economy and increase the role of the Podlaskie Voivodeship on Poland’s transport map.
6 modern bridges and 13 structures will be modernized, which will become safer thanks to modern traffic control devices. The control center at SiemianÃ³wka station will be rebuilt and equipped with modern digital devices.
