Steam locomotive 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will pass through Cambridge this Friday

6233 Duchess of Sutherland will pass through Cambridge this Friday (May 13) en route to Ely.

Light engine with her supporting trainer, the LMS Duchess is on the move positioning for her Windsor Flyer tour.

Departing West Coast Railway’s Southall depot at 10.50am, the locomotive will pass through Southall (11.04am), Acton Main Line (11.35am), Willesden Junction (11.46am), Gospel Oak (12.02pm), Finsbury Park (12.19pm), Alexandra Palace (1.40pm), Welwyn Garden City (2.01pm), Stevenage (2.18pm), Royston (2.50pm), Cambridge (3.23pm), Waterbeach (3.32pm) and Ely Sidings at 3.46pm.

The locomotive will then make a turn via Ely, visiting the station at 4:24 p.m. and 4:44 p.m.
