The Duchess’ steam locomotive will transport the tour from Norwich to Worcester


The 6233 Duchess of Sutherland steam locomotive is on the main line this Thursday and will visit Peterborough with a tour from Norwich to Worcester.

The locomotive is on The Worcester Christmas Fayre this Thursday, December 2, 2021.

Departing from Norwich with a diesel locomotive at 6:55 am the tour will pass through Attleborough (7:16 am), Thetford (7:34 am), Brandon (7:45 am) and Ely at 8:10 am where 6233 Duchess of Sutherland is added to the train. D’Ely, 6233 Duchess of Sutherland will pass through Manea (08:46), March (08:56), Peterborough (09:21), Oakham (09:57), Melton Mowbray (10:09), Leicester (11:25), Hinckley (11:43) ), Nuneaton (11:49 a.m.), Water Orton (12:13 p.m.), Kings Norton (12:40 p.m.), Bromsgrove (12:55 p.m.), Droitwich Spa (1:05 ​​p.m.) and Worcester Shrub Hill at 1:15 p.m.

After the time spent in Worcester, the 6233 will depart at 4:33 p.m. and pass through Longbridge (5:07 p.m.), Water Orton (5:42 p.m.), Nuneaton (6:04 p.m.), Leicester (6:35 p.m.) and Humberstone Road (6:40 p.m. – 6233 replaced by a diesel locomotive here), Melton Mowbray (19:56) Peterborough (20:42), March (21:10), Brandon (22:10), Thetford (22:20), Attleborough (22:38), Wymondham (22:48) and Norwich at 11:04 p.m.
